How to Freeze Colorado Peaches (We've done this for 3 years & love it!)

    • Ripen by taking out of the box, not stacked on top of each other
    • Wait for your Colorado peaches to reach your desired level of ripeness.
    • Once ready, place as many whole, unpeeled, unwashed Colorado peaches as you can into each large freezer bag. That's right! No need to wash, peel, or cut up. All you have to do is place them in the bag whole, and zip it shut. Using this method, it's important NOT to wash your peaches beforehand.
    • Press out as much air as possible, close the bag, and place your filled freezer bags in the freezer. You're done!
    • When ready to use your frozen peaches, take out only as many as you are ready to use
    • Simply run Each Individual peach in your hand under warm water, gently rubbing the skin. As the skin thaws, it will begin to slough off,
    • Place Each Individual peach in a cereal bowl, microwave for about 30-45 seconds to help thaw
    • Cut peach in half and remove the seed

    · You're all set to eat with a bowl of ice cream,

or place into a delicious peach recipe of your choice!

I like microwaving the ears, but shuck husks completely off. Don't microwave too long. A minute and a half is good for 2 ears on a plate. Randy

This is a skid steer getting crushed ice to put it in a slurry machine to hydro-cool the sweet corn.
